For over hundred years Shinohara Textile Co has been making some of the finest fabrics in Japan. A lot has changed since their beginnings within traditional kasuri textiles, but their commitment to quality has always been unwavering. Now under the management of the fourth generation, mr Yoshinori runs the operations with his two sons, both of which are certified jeans sommeliers. The factory and all its looms run on 100% solar power and all waste or discarded fabric is recycled locally.
