Sakamoto Denim Co is 50 year old family owned and operated dyeing house specialized in rope dyeing for raw denim. Once known for the tedious and labor-intense ancient organic indigo dying techniques, the dying house is today best known for its innovative rope dying process, achieving greater color, with less impact. Using a proprietary cold-water method, our dying house is able to reduce CO2 emissions by 380g per pair of denim.
