Clothes are some of our most intimate belongings. Transcending mere functionality, summer garments especially, have a way of transporting us to a moment in time. To a specific beach, back to a sunset, a favourite restaurant or hotel bar. Our lasting essentials are created to be worn over consecutive summers and transport you back to past vacations.
Collaborating with photojournalist Josh Robenstone and Stylist Natalie Petrevski we explore the emotional connection people often have with their clothing and how certain garments can evoke memories and emotions associated with specific moments in time.

They call Sydney a city of villages, each area its own pocket with a distinct personality, from harbour front neighbourhoods to vibrant urban areas but most infamously the sun-drenched beaches which scatter across the city's coastline. Our compact crew spent the day exploring this stretch, from the sandy shores of Camp Cove to the tidal swimming baths in Coogee, and the locals' favorite spot at North Bondi Boats. Capturing our summer essentials in their best light.
